I added another layer of #26 to my car last night, I ran out of time to remove the same day, will it cause any problems leaving it on their basically for 24 hours?? The car hasn't been driven or left my garage or anything...

Thanks,

Nope. Might be harder to remove, but I wouldn't know with liq #26. The general trend is sealants tend to be easier to remove over time, and carnaubas become more difficult.

Hooray! I just hit that mark myself yesterday! :)

As for leaving the wax on the paint...

Back when I used NXT exclusively (before I was really serious about all of this detailing stuff) I used to apply NXT, then go to bed, and get up, eat breakfast, and then remove the NXT. So, 8-10 hrs or so. I never had any problems with it, and you can be sure it had enough time to bond to the paint!

Hey, your PM's are full!

I did overnights with klasse and zaino and they're easier to remove. I did it with s100 just to try and it was more difficult. I never tried a liquid carnauba before.

That is actually a great idea (to leave it to bond overnight)

I would'nt want to do that with #26 paste though:eek: (I use both religiously)

Bonding overnight isn't necessary and can actual be a problem. Dust and other fine particles could end up getting embedding in the wax that you'll be buffing off and end up marring your finish. With no. 26; No more than 20-mins should be needed.

I recently (2-weeks ago) applied a fresh coat of 26 and forgot how nice of look it had since I had been applying mainly S100 the past 6-months. Easy on, easy off.

Exactly why long curing times before removal bother me. I prefer on and off products for that very reason.
