Meguiars #26 clarity over Klasse?

I would've posted this earlier, but I had to go out. I topped most of my car with #26 Hi-Tech Yellow paste today. My plan is to Klasse, then top with #26 for a durable layer, then finish with P21S/S100 over top of that. I'm getting better at applying the coats, and buffing was tough but uneventful.

The car looked good overall, but I did another one of my 1/2 and 1/2 tests on it. This time on the roof, where I'm able to get a terrific reflection. My problem is: The side topped with Meguiars wasn't as "optically pure", to coin a Zaino term, as the side with just Klasse (6 coats). The reflection was muted slightly and slightly more blurry. Colours were a bit milkier and washed out. Not a lot, and I probably wouldn't have noticed if I didn't have my line marked off, but the blurriness and milkiness were definitely there. Right now it seems like the #26 isn't as "clear" as the Klasse.

Will this situation improve as the wax cures? Would topping the #26 off with my P21S (S100) as I had planned improve the situation? Or should I strip the #26 and do only P21S?

Or... is this common to all carnauba waxes and it won't matter what I top it with?

Thanks now and, I'm sure, later.

Klasse provides a candy coated shine. Layering the SG will tint some cars paint darker (have to park next to a car of the same color to notice.)

Most carnaubas provide a wet look to them, hence the blurriness/muted look.

Some people prefer this wet/blurry/muted look of carnaubs, while other like the clear shine.

Its your preference, strip off carnauba and keep going with Klasse, of have some fun with P21S and #26 as toppers.

Hmm, thanks Jason I didn't know that before. So it sounds like this is a general "carnauba thing" and it'll look more or less the same with P21S won't it?

I think I might try a bit of the P21S on a section since it only takes a minute...

Forget this whole thread :p I just went outside and took a 2nd look not long ago, and I'm using bad methodology  It's the angle I'm looking at the paint, and even the slight arc I was moving my head in changed the look of the reflection. As people might know, sharper angles look clearer and brighter, so that's why they looked different.

I've decided I can't really tell much visual differnce, but it does bead water better now...
