Meguiar`s Hybrid Paint Coating

I`ve applied one coat and realized a few days later that I could have applied another coat but within one hour. Since its been a few days does adding another layer now do anything for appearance or durability?
 
I think what was discussed in a video by Markus is at your time now a second coat would have a hard time staying on. I think maybe 3 months in it would stay on better.

Okay then I will wait until next year when it will have worn off and then reapply two coats.
Still don`t know what two coats will do versus the one complete coverage will do as far as durability and appearance?

Most will do two coats mainly for coverage..in case you missed a spot or two. It will probably help will durability, but not by much.
 
I think the 2nd coat an hour later is optional. Just for that extra comfort of knowing you would get any spots missed the first coat, and a little extra layer of protection to stretch the coating life out. I think appearance would be very much the same to the eye.
I Markus`s video it was for M799, a maintenence product for this among other uses. He said it probably wouldn`t stay on for the first 3 months, but after that timeframe would make a great booster.
