I have one gallon the meg's DACP, it does work, but what a pain the @$$ to remove. I always need to use QD on it.

You can use it by hand, but have fun with that:D

Remember it is a cleaner polish, you will need to rub against the panel for it to work, not hard, but you will need to rub. These products were made for machine.

Are you working it until it is nearly clear and dry? I have never had a problem removing it when I work it long enough.

I use it by hand all the time. You do have to really work the product though. If you aren't used to buffing by hand, it is very strenuous.

I apply it with terry cloth towels folded into 1/8ths and work on a section at a time. You have to rub it into the paint until is looks almost clear-probably 30-40 seconds a section. You have to keep your hand pretty flat because it does have abrasives in it-even though they do break down to a polish pretty quickly. If you use your finger tips, you may get some surface marring. Re-applying with a flat hand will remove them though.

True, but if you use them the way I said, you will get good results and more muscular shoulders and arms!

BTW, use SFP the same way.

SCOTT,

you might be right about the dacp, i have always had problems with it since i bought it, infact i never even use it anymore. Maybe i got a bad gallon or something like that. I really work it into the panel, i tried everything. The only thing i did notice was that it was easier to come off when i used a rotary then when i used a PC.

Sounds like you got a bac batch or something. The excess should pretty much wipe off with very little effort.

I have to agree with Scott on this one - I *love* DACP because it's so easy to use. I know that Meguiar's is pretty well known for adjusting it's formulas on a regular basis; I'm willing to bet you got a bad batch.

Let me know if you'd like me to send you a little of the new stuff so you can give it a shot.
