Here's a close-up of the hood of my 2004 Maxima after a coat of Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze and 1 coat of NXT:

This is a work in progress and I havn't finished the rest of the car yet.....but i'll post some more pics when i'm done.

BTW...... both #7 and NXT were applied using a small (6") random orbit WEN buffer.

Not bad.

Looks good Bob! Hope to see some full shots when you're done!

I really like NXT on light metallic colors. My initial experiences with NXT on our jet black car were nothing to write home about. However, I tried it yesterday afternoon on my silver car, just to sort of finish off the sample that was so generously sent to me by Greg (owner of the black BMW). Wow, talk about a smoking wet shine! I haven't seen the car yet under the bright sun, but in the afternoon light (which was still pretty bright at 7PM), the car looked very nice. Maybe the purported *muting of the metallic flakes* might be a trade-off for having a wet shine on light metallic, but in any event, my silver car hasn't looked this good in a long while.

Combined with the dripping wet, glossy shine of Stoners MSLT on my tires (which BTW, is my new favorite tire dressing), I was pleased with the way my car looked.

I'm going all OTC baby!
