A while back I was looking into a few products from Megs but was turned away because I think the #83 said you had to use a rotary to break down the polish properly. Is that true? I have read a few posts that say they used 83 with a pc and wonder if it works the same or not as good. any help would help. thanks

I find #83 pretty easy to use, either by rotary or PC.

On some paints, when using the PC, it can occasionally leave a slight hazing that has to be removed with a finer polish. That’s the exception, not the rule. It doesn’t happen at all with the rotary.

As with any product, if you use to much it will gum up.

PC.

I really like #83, and it can be used effective by both PC and rotary as discussed above and in the linked thread. As mentioned, the key to #83 by PC really is to work it well, until the residue goes clear and on speed 5 rather than 6 as I find the higher speed dries the polish too quickly. If you dont thoroughly work the polish then you will end up with micromarring, espeically on softer paints and espeically noticeable on dark solid colours, but as long as you thoroughly work the #83 its an excellent polish that is very capable.
