have 2 quick questions.....

Just bought myself some Megs NXT Gen Speed Detailer...
When I apply this it is no problem, was just wondering on the dry off if i dont get it all if there is any problems. (Smers, Build up and what not)

Second, I use Black Magic Tire Wet.....
Applied it once about a month ago a relized i used to much when it was driping down the tire. Just used again today and tryed using alot less but was to little so I tryed to use a little more and got on my rims..... I am hoping to hear that this will not do anything to my rims at all.... And also What can I use to clean my tire from my household cleaners

Meatwad got the money see! :mohawk

No problem if you miss some of the detailer. What I like to do is have two microfibers. One to put the majority of it on, and then another to buff it all off. Keeps the smears down to a minimum.

As for the tire gel, it won't hurt the rims if you get it off right away. If it stays on a while, it may discolor the rim a bit. I always go back over my wheels with a soft terry towel after I use any dressing to get anything that may have dripped on them.

For tires, I used to use Castrol Super Clean on them with a stiff brush. Be careful on the wheels though! Be sure to rinse whatever gets on them off quick. Simple Green or any APC (All Purpose Cleaner) will work the same. It is really worth looking into Eagle One's AtoZ Wheel and Tire cleaner. You can get it at WalMart or Pep Boys and it works great on the wheels, tires, fender skirts, etc. Makes cleaning them so much easier because you barely have to use a brush if at all.

I have used black magic and simple green (diluted) to clean wheels and tires, but that black magic is some seriously strong stuff so I threw it out.

The simple green works ok, but I found that my OXO spoke wheel brush and some car soap (cheap stuff I bought preDC) never lets me down. Tool is just as important as product.

Where would we be without the PC???
