So I decide to wash my car tonight. its 9 degrees F in Chicago right now. I ONR in my non-heated garage and everything looks sweet. Then I decide to put a layer of Meg's Ultimate Quik Wax on the roof of my car... First pass is okay.. then it starts freezing! It was pretty crazy and I will never do it again in such cold weather... I hope I didn't cause any marring. I had to melt sections with my hand and then wipe off.

There's a reason why most companies will tell you not to use their products when temps drop below about 50F. While many products will still work reasonably well even down to 40F or a bit colder, expecting something that mists out like UQW (or just about any other spray wax, quick detailer, etc) to NOT freeze quickly when it's only 9F is asking an awful lot. Physics and chemistry are pretty stern task masters!!

I actually left my Meg's UQW in the garage and the contents are completely frozen. Does this mean that this bottle is no good anymore? Or can I just thaw it out in my house?

I will not do anything but ONR in single digit temps from now on.

My two cents: Don't even mess with ONR when the temperature is in the single digits.

Agreed. I wouldn't touch a car, period, when its that cold. Only thing I would consider is pressure rinse with warm or heated water.
