megs spray nozzels

hey everyone i just bought a spray nozzel and bottle for the megs wheel bright cleaner. but it seems like the sprayer went bad after the 4th time ive used it. Now it will not spray i must have sat there for two min squeezing the trigger but no luck. i bought a new one but how long of life should this sprayer have since it is pushing a pretty powerful chemical through it. is there anything i can do to prevent this? This is the sprayer im talking about the chemical resistant sprayer

Put your finger over the nozzle ansd squeeze the trigger a few times. There could be air in the pickup tube, by covering the nozzle you are forcing thr iar out of the tube through the bottom, allowing the chemical to replace it in the tube.



I havwe spray bottles from ZEP, they do the same thing on occasion.

After using a sprayer in a product like that you need to remove it and pump some water through it to rinse it out. Even a chemical resistant sprayer will be affected by a lot of the harsh (acidic) wheel cleaners out there. I think I remember Steve from Poorboy's recommending doing that with the sprayers in his Spray and Rinse wheel cleaner or they'll go bad.
