Hello All -

Can someone explain the difference between the following Meguiars professional series products

Washes - Shampoo Plus ($15) vs. Hyper-Wash ($30)

Dressings - Hyper Dressing ($40) vs. All Season Dressing ($27) vs. Silicone Free ($31)

Would there be particular applications where one would be better than the other? Thanks for all the assistance.

Shampoo Plus is diluted at 1:128 where as Hyper-Wash is 1:400. I've only used Shampoo Plus a few times out of the two. No complaints works good.

Hyper Dressing is a water based dressing that is more for interior and under hood applications. I can also be diluted at different levels to achieve different shine. All Season Dressing is a solvent based dressing for exterior parts. It holds up to the weather better. I love it on tires. Silicone Free is more for body shop environments where you don't want silicone. I've never used it so can't comment on it's performance.

Hope that helps.

I have hyper wash and do not like it at all. lubricity is little to none, doesnt sud much(I like suds), doesnt really have a smell(I like smell).. I just dont like it.

Ive not tried super soap but Ive heard its good.

As said, Hyper dressing is water based so its not good for exterior plastic. I use it under the hood since it doesnt seem to attract dust. Its a concentrate so alittle goes along way.. Great product I think.

ASD is silicone based, so its good for exterior plastic. I love it on tires also. alittle goes along way even though its not concentrated. Ive not used one bottle and Ive been using it on exterior plastic and tires for about a year.

Never tried silicone free as I dont need it. Its good for body shops.

Good to hear about Hyper Wash. I was always tempted to try it.

Super soap smells like cherry cough syrup. I used it once last winter in my closed up one stall garage and pretty much gaged on the smell. I'll have to try it again one of these days, seemed to be pretty slick.
