Meg's NXT wash vs GC wash

Seeing as that i wash either my car or my parents car fairly often, I go through alot of car wash soap. I have used "boutique" washes in the past and like them alot, but they are expensive and the money adds up. Lately I have used Meg's Gold Class and i love it. I feel that it is a great OTC wash and is very comparable to more expensive products. I noticed that alot of you guys use NXT however. Ive never used NXT so last night i tried it out. I liked it alot and love the way it smells, my car looks great this morning. The only drawback i noticed was that it lacked the suds and lubricity of Gold Class. How do you guys feel about these two washes?

Both are great.

Suds are pretty much for show..but are definitely fun

I think you're right with NXT having just a touch less lubricity..but both are pretty good

The reason I like NXT is that it seems to help with water spotting

I agree.... but I prefer Gold Class for the extra lubricity and the extra pop it tends to add to black.

I personally prefer gold class on my vehicle, because it is more LSP friendly. NXT is definitely harsher on LSPs, so I use it before major details when I'm going to be polishing anyways.

At $12 a gallon you have to admire the value of this GC. NXT, OTOH, offers an advantage where hard water is prominent. Either does a decent job but I prefer GC.

I use NXT for every wash that I dont use ONR for. I'm happy with it's performance and thrilled with it's availability and price. I use it in my foam gun and it seems to make plenty of foam. I've used GC before, but I lean toward NXT.
