Meg's Natural Shine

I bought a bottle of this at the local store, it's called Meg's Natural Shine Vinyl and Rubber Protectant. Has anyone seen or tried this.

I used some toinght and boy did it leave a shine. It was kind of greasy, and the formula itself was thick. It is not like #40.

I am also wondering if they didn't change the name on this to NXT Protectant? If they didn't what are the differences.

I personally find the Meg Natural shine is the best vinyl protectant, I use a damp C-ello sponge and spray product to the sponge and apply, and leave it no buffing required. How is #40 different is it not shiny or something I might want to try it. :)

i use natural shine and actually diluted it slightly i would say 70 megs to 30 water, thin it out made it easier to apply and still gave a great look, good product in my opinion, and a good value, smells ok as well :bigups

I like NL, IMO it is one of the better locally available retail dressing s. Very matte finish and pleasantly scented. I find it to be close to #40, but with a few differences. The chemical cleaners in #40 seem to be a bit stronger, the final look of #40 is higher gloss, and from time to time I need a final wipe down with #40(typically NL does not need this).

Nice product at a great price IMO.

I apply it with a yellow foam applicator.

I haven't tried NXT, do you know how it differs from that?

As far as I know the NXT is NOT water-based and will leave a slightly higher gloss. It will tone down if you give it a final buff with a dedicated MF. Some have found the NXT to be "greasy" I persoanlly have not had this problem. I find that it dries to the touch and leaves a semi-gloss look once dried.

I really like natural shine, its not as slick as AA or NXT Protectant, yet it really deepens my plastic trim on my 99 4Runner. I still use AA or NXT on the front bumper, but on the plastic running boards, i use Natural shine. Its good stuff, and I recommend it highly :mohawk
