Meg's Last Touch as Clay Lube

I've read on the forums here that a few of you use Meg's Last Touch as clay lube. I thought at one point I remember someone saying that it could be diluted with water as still be used just effectively as a clay lube.

So should I dilute it with water at all (if so, at what ratio) or simply use it straight?

I've heard 1:1 works with last touch, but it's still kinda expensive. ONR works great at 64:1 (32 oz Distilled H2O and .5 oz ONR for 32 oz bottle) and it's cheap.

The LT directions for claying actually calls for a 1:1 ratio. IMO LT has FAR more lubricity than ONR and it leaves the surface very slick....so slick that it will keep the masking tape form sticking well. I love LT but I may switch to M34 simply because of the tape problem.

even with a 1:1 ratio it leaves the surface that slick!! Wow, can I use it 50/50 as a QD?

I originally had two bottles, one at regular strength and one at 1:1. Now I just use it 1:1 for everything and it works just fine. At full strength I have gotten some streaking on hot summer days.

Good to know its a great QD and REALLY inexpensive. Less than $20 for 2 gallons (thats at a 1:1 ratio)

I have used both, LT and ONR as lube, and LT wins by far! I even have 2 oz of ONR in a 32oz bottle for lube and it doesnt feel as "protected" as LT does at 1:1 I buy in 5gal so I get 10gal of lube for 75bucks...not too shabby, and hopefully less soon!!!
