Megs equivilent of 3M Perfect-It Rubbing Compound?

Hi All,



Can anyone tell me if Megs do a product that is equivilent to 3M's Perfect-It Rubbing Compound? I'm looking at having a go at some colour-sanding and it is easier for me to get hold of Megs products rather than 3M. My method of application would be by hand and my car has a solid black non-clearcoat finish.

I don't really want to hazard a guess here, not being all THAT familiar with Meg's abrasives. But note that there are quite a few different Perfect It RCs. Some of them, like PI-III RC (05933) are little, if any, stronger than Meg's DACP.

I hadn't realised there were several grades of Rubbing Compound. Also, totally missed #84 - that seems very close in description to the Rubbing Compound I was looking at. Is it ok to apply #84 by hand?
