Yesterday i had a chance to use my PC with DACP. I was quite shocked with the results. I got rid of alot of swirls using cut pad.

Just wondering if DACP has fillers? I follow it up with SSR1 with polish pad, would that remove the fillers? I hate removing swirls and then finding out i just filled them in!

I'm not sure if DACP has fillers or not, but in my experience, following up with SSR1 would take care of it. SSR1 is a nice, filler-free polish that leaves a remarkable shine.

One thing you can do is take a 50/50 water & isopropyl alcohol solution and spray the finish with it after using the DACP. This will remove the fillers that DACP may leave behind and let you see any defects you need to hit again.

That's a good process to do anytime you are using an SMR. Then, take some magnification and good light to check the surface closely. You'll be surprised what you see!

I believe all the Meguiar's polishes from the professional body shop line have "beauty oils" which would act as fillers. Finishing up with SSR1(non filler) should be fine though and remove any fillers or oils. As others said if you really wanted to you can do the 50/50 wipedown.
btw what pad did you use? Meguiars cutting(burgundy) pad? I hear that combo is pretty aggressive.

thanks for the tips. right now i'm using Lake Country Yellow cut pad.

I started first with the white polish pad with ssr2.5 but that did nothing, then i tried ssr2.5 with yellow cut pad, again no results. My luck with 2.5 has been pretty sad. Finally i tried DACP with yellow cut pad = great results.

now i'm thinking maybe i can use DACP with white polish pad? has anyone tried this?

Only an observation and a few questions as well? what speeds were you using in each process?Alot of times just increasing speed of PC will help out(not all the time)sometimes more aggressive product is needed other times more aggressive pad is all that is needed, all this comes with experience and even with experience can run into to some problems, never give up till you are satisfied or you have spent to much time on one process then its either time to move up to circular buffer of leave it to professional or leave it and live with it. Now on to observation after you did all those steps, you now had three steps there you might have gotten same results from first product with the three steps also, allot of mistakes hide under several coats of sealant/wax and takes several steps with PC to get down there, where as circular gets there much faster but can make mistakes costing BIG BUCKS to fix.Just take your time and try different products and when you find something you like stick with it till you read something better LOL.
