Megs car shampoos

Finishing up my GC shampoo. I really like it. It leaves the car nice and shiney and its easy to apply. Is the NXT shampoo any better?

I haven't used GC on my car, but with NXT, dust and pollen attraction seems lower than the Eagle One Wet and Meguiar's #00 I used previuosly. The lubricity is good too, other than that, if you like the GC, keep with it. If you want to try something new, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

From what I recall, NXT shampoo has a sequestering agent that tries to cling to minerals in your water, thus making them heavier and settling them to the bottom. But Gold Class has more gloss enhancers and such. I'd say if you like Gold Class, enjoy it. But if you're feeling adventurous, give NXT a try. I imagine the NXT would still be pretty good even if you end up liking GC better. :nixweiss

In the real world, I'm guessing that either of the products will satisfy. The NXT purports to 'insulate' dirt particles, and thus prevent marring...

hmm i was wonderin if it would be good to mix NXT and GC half and half...best of both worlds...or wouldn't that work?

I do agree with AuroraForty :nixweiss As far as GC or NXT I think sometimes it comes down to personal preference and what you are looking for in a wash.

So what qualities do you think one would be looking for that would be met with NXT?



I think GC would be perfect if it had more suds.
