I have never used one of these but, today i picked one up to use on the rocker panels and lower bumper.

Has anyone tried one before and what is your opinion on using one.

Have used one of the versa-angle brushes on the lower body panels/bumper of my Audi A4 for ~ 6 months. I like it due to the reach of the brush and it makes those low places easier to clean without stooping, but all my lower body panels/bumpers are plastic. I've never used it on any painted body work.

Hey this is one in the link is a wide angle. my versa angle looks like a large brush head,is their a differene between the two.

Greg thnks for the search i remember seeing it now..

Is the plastic a painted surface..

Joe-- Yes, I believe there are two different types of brush heads as you mentioned. My plastic panels are not painted.

I would not be afraid to use it on a wash before a detail. It looks like a time saver. But on a finished out car that you're trying to 'save' between polishes, I'd stay clear just to be safe.

I didn't use Sheepskin wash mitts for a few years because I didn't like how the loaded up soap, but after using them (reluctantly, but on advice from others) for the past 6 months I see a HUGE reduction in marring.

I'll say this about the Meg's brush..... if it caused any marring GSRstilez would have mentioned it in his post. He's straight up on what works and what doesn't.

My next wash i'll give it try and see what happens. MGM i agree If their were any problems sean would have stated them in his thread.Im not a brush guy when it comes to washing but the brisstles are so darn soft.

Joe, have used this on my black suv and have not had any issues. the only down fall of the brush is that it does not hold a lot of suds. using on the lower rocker panels only I load up the brush the best I can and do a very small area, rinse, then repeat. I also pretreat the panels with QEW first. since I am washing trucks/ suv's they are usually dirtier than cars IMHO. the brushes are soft but I have not used it on anything other than the rockers. let us know what your thought are.

Joe i have a buddy who uses it on his vehicle and he also happens to have a 20k Custom paint job and has never mentioned any marring or other damage being casued by this brush. I have sevral of the Meg's brushes and love them I do not however have the body brush.

I use it to wash the top of my truck as it is hard to reach. As mentioned
in previous replies, it doesn't hold a lot of suds. I just rinse and resoap
often. I have not seen any marring when I have to get up there to dry.
They are pretty soft brushes and I have their wheel brush too. I took the
long handle off of the wheel brush. It also works great.

WOW the brush has alot of good replys and makes me comfortable to give it a try. Thanks to EVERYONE who took the time to answer, it is appreciated.

A friend of mine picked one up about a month ago, when he first told me he bought a brush to wash his car I was thinking it was one of those hard-bristle brushes they have at coin-op's. When I first saw it I was very suprised at how soft it was, nothing like I'd ever seen before. Now that I know it works well, I'll have to pick one up for myself :D

hey if any of you guys have a store called Big Lots, theyve got this brush for $10. I just picked one up today. They also have megs interior brush, versa-angle wheel face brush, tire brush, and wheel spoke brush. I think theyre all around 4-5bucks each.

I picked up the interior brush, wheel brush and body brush at Advance
Auto for half price. I think the interior brush was 5 bucks, the wheel brush
was 7 bucks and the body brush was 6 bucks. They still have that sale as
of tonight. I was there buying some oil.

I used the Megs body brush and actually enjoyed washing the car as this is not my favorite. The wash went pretty fast with no marring that i could see as it started to get dark but,i was parked under the street light and this normally will show paint defecst fairlywell.

I had no problem with dirt in the brush and it rinsed out really well in my rinse bucket. I did bring out three sheepskin mitts but i only used one for the wheels, i used the brush starting from the top working my way down.

Then i finished up with Megs #16 and Topped with Nattys Blue.So off to advance auto to see if i can find a couple more of the megs brushes at a sale price. BTW for a carnauba the Megs #16 produced a mirror glaze shine and i then used NB to soften it up a bit.

I know you guys like to see some pics but i find them to be a pita at times.(sorry)
