Megs APC for household carpet shampooing?

So I've been contemplating changing out my carpet shampoo for some of my Meg's APC to help with some of the cleaning power. I've used diluted APC to clean stains in headliners, carpets, and fabric seats before, but it never ocurred to me to try it in our household carpets. Do APC's stain or have any ill side effects household carpet? I can't imagine the fibers being all that different from automotive carpet. I've got a Bissel Proheat 2x that I use for shampooing my carpets (if that matters).

Anybody else try using car detailing products for household cleaning? I'm tempted to start putting Poxy on some of my smooth hard-surface furniture to see if it has any effects on dust accumulation :waxing:

I've used APC+ on some household (synthetic fiber) rugs and all went exceedingly well. Test in a small inconspicuous spot first. I followed up with a hot water rinse and extract to be sure there was no detergent remaining on the fibers. The rugs came out looking like new. I'd think APC might be too foamy for carpeting but I've not done but a couple test spots with it previously. I prefer APC+ for fabrics due to its lower foaming.

I still have some of the old version and it works indoors very well I just had to watch once to avoid coloring the item blue but cleaning power is great

I put a cup or so of Meg APC in a mop bucket to clean lenoleum floors. In a spray bottle at 10:1 will clean sinks and toilets really well.
