Megs All Season Dressing

The Pit

Anybody using it? I don't want to dress wheel wells every time I wash, so I'm looking for something inexpensive that will survive a few washes and a rainy day (i.e. not water-based). TIA

I use it and love it. It's a little oily, but it covers wheel and provides a very uniform finish. I use it on tires applied with an EO tire wipe and it lasts for about 2-4 weeks. I noticed that even after washing, the tires remain dark and retain some of the sheen from the dressing. I'm sure this will do well for wheel wells as well. An added bonus is that it has a really cool smell, almost like a cologne.

When it drys it's fine, it's just during application that it is somewhat oily. As long as you buff off the excess you will not have any problem with dust accumulation.

Another good dressing that meets your needs is armorall extreme tire shine. I doesn't give a glassy shine, it's shiny but understated. I bought it because it came with 6 months of Motor Trend and I needed a tire shine quickly. I was really impressed, and it lasts a long time. One thing is that when you go to strip it off you might need a few passes with your tire cleaner, it hangs on like crazy.
