#9 is a very light cut cleaner and its swirl hiding/removal abilities are fairly limited. If you want to remove some light marring or swirls, it will do fine, however if you have moderate swirls, #80 or #83 will be needed. For me, Meg's polishes are not very sun/heat friendly and tend to gum up if the surface is too warm. #9 can be difficult to remove if the surface is too warm, or if the product is allowed to dry or gum up. I have replaced #9 with #80 and have been very happy with the results.
