look for opinions here. I can't seem to get rid of those pesky spider web swirls on my paint, they are not that bad but they are there. most can't see them but i can when i wash and it's beginnig to bug me. The paint is in good condition, garage kept and the car is only 2 yrs old.

I have tried AIO, and Meg's 80 looks good but you know when you hit those certain angles you can see the light swirls. My question is, do you think Meg's 83 would be too rough on the paint? No major swirls or marring on the car. Or should i just try giving the car 2 passes with meg's 80.

any advice would help

I would just give 80 another shot. It should take car of everything. Because if you used 83, you risk hazing, then you would have to use 80 again anyways. Good luck!

#83 on a polishing pad won't do you much harm... I use it quite often like this and I can usually go straight to my LSP.

But as the others said, I'd try once more with #80, then give #83 a try if you still have the problem.

I have NEVER had a problem with hazing when using 83. You just have to make REALLY sure that you work it to completion; which is why I only use it with the PC.

I have used #83 with a PC using a wool pad, a cutting pad and a polishing pad and never have had a problem. The key is to work the product in untill it is almost gone. Even on black, I was able to go straight to a LSP even though I usually finish up with either VM or AIO before the LSP.

I say go for the #83 if #80 is not cutting it for you. I hope this helps.

Cheers,
