I found a quantity of #26 today (for very cheap) and could not resist my hoarding instinct. I bought all that was there, 6 cans of paste, and 3 liquid. I am thinking of freezing the stuff for to preserve it until it is requested. Does freezing it hurt the product? :cool:

Don't freeze it.



Just make sure the cap is on and store it in a place where the temperature will be relatively constant like in a basement or a closet in your house. You do not want it to be exposed to extreme heat or cold.



With the paste waxes I hoard in the old school tins, I vacuum seal them and stash in my basment with my dad's wine collection!

Wow that would be a rude awakening if int he dark you tried to grab some ice cream and instead grab some #26 carnauba... :shocked
 
Down here in West Texas AutoZone has the Meg's#7 for 99 cents & the Meg's #26 Paste for $9.99. ( wishing I lived in PA! lol )
 
Looks like I need to hit Autozone tomorrow. I used #26 for years, I need to get a can for old time's sake and because it is about as good as Souveran on red.

thats pretty good praise! I have only used one can of it, but it was good stuff. sorry to see it go. :(

Meg's #26 paste is only .99 at *most* Autozones if there is any left.

I'm so sad & upset. #26 is my favorite wax. I went to 4 Autozone stores throughout my city only to find that they were all out of #26. I'm in a tight money situation so the recent cheap price of #26 gave me high hopes.



Each store I came to, I would pray fo it to be there but it was already gone.



I finally came to one store which had it but someguy already took the last three cans. He had a whole cart full of just detailing products including my three babies. ( he probably runs a business)



I was soooo disheartnened at the sight. I'm gonna go cry myselft to sleep. :(



Oh! Ohhhhh! Woe is meeeeee.:(

I called the store in Pittston PA; the guy said, "Yeah, we have the paste at $4.99, and the liquid at $9.99...." That sounded like the hot ticket! So I drove half an hour, and look all over the store. Finally I find Anton, the guy I spoke with, and asked him to show it to me... and he led me over to the cans of Cleaner Wax!



Bah. I love it, but it's not like one can won't last the rest of my life anyhow, what with all the other stuff I have.

That happened to me too when I was calling around for it. I called one Autozone and the lady said she had four cans. I ran over there and it turned out one of the cans was Gold Class! Three of them were #26 though, so I was still very happy.:xyxthumbs
