Trying to catch up on a few details, a couple of these were done months ago…
This Bentley was in really rough shape. The paint protection film was really of poor quality(the install wasn’t much better), but the owner opted not to replace it. The exterior was riddled with swirls/marring and it took quite sometime to recondition it.
This car was really cool, but I did a horrible job remembering to take pictures. The car was supercharged, had the euro dash conversion, double-paned glass, etc.
We detailed the exterior and then installed paint protection film (clear bra).
We did NOT detail the motor, but I thought that some might enjoy the view..
Only full shot I have of the car—told you I did a horrible job!
This Milano red BMW Z4 M was a really cool car to detail. The car came from carmax, so everyone here knows what that means—hacked up! There were buffer trails all over the car, sanding marks from their “touch up” guys, etc. Inside looked like they just slathered two gallons of tire shine on *everything*!
We detailed the car and then applied paint protection film.
Here is something a bit different—we covered this *entire* Porsche in paint protection film. Last year we covered the front fenders, bumper, etc. This year he wanted the whole hood, the doors, etc. Everything painted is covered in clear bra—took about three days to complete.
Making the template for the door:
We rolled this seam in to the door jam to a. hide the seam and b. lend protection to the door seal.
This CTS-V was also interesting. We installed a standard kit a few months ago for the owner. He also owns a ZR1 that he tracks, the cts-v was supposed to be the daily. With an upcoming track day and the ZR1 out of town, he decided to track the cts-v—here comes the paint protection film!
Needed to cover the entire hood, so we removed the squirters, grill, etc.
Fender going on..
Customer wanted a piece over the rear fender flare, but it just didn’t flow with the car, so I just covered the whole thing,,,
Nice work. I may have to put a paint protection film on the hood of my next car so long as it is not crazy expensive. Rock chips are such a pain in the rear.
Great jobs on some unique cars! I have to ask you...In one of the pics of the Ford pick-up did I see a White Ultima GTR in the reflection??? Those are one of my all time favorite cars.
