I just caught a thread with mention of media trade for detailing services, and thought some of you might benefit from insight from the media's perspective.
Media (tv, radio, print) love to have trade on-hand. Car wash and detail trade is high on that list (just below bar trade :beer). Trade is used for staff incentives, client gifts, promotional prizes... and the word of mouth from these new customers is priceless. It really extends the value of your advertising return on investment.
Your fine services are in high demand, my fellow DC members. If your business could benefit from some good advertising give your local media people a call. Whether its business cards or spot schedules, you might be surprised at how much leverage you have and what they are willing to do for you!
