What is everybody using to clean and condition MB-Tex? My significant other wants me to take care of the MB-Tex in her vehicle Thanks:bigups

Mb tex is great stuff. You can clean it with about anything. Wollite dilluted 10:1 or any All purpose cleaner usually works the best. I spray, agitate with a mild brush and wipe clean. For look and protection i use aerospace 303 protectant or another water based dressing.

As I recall, MB Tex is their synthetic leather coverings? If yes, I can't see how you could go wrong with optimum leather protectant.

I use OLP (aka OPP around here) on my dash, doors, etc. But I also use it on my coated leather as well. It supposedly lightly cleans but primarly protects and has a very nice leather smell to it. It does not make things greasy, shiny, or plastic-y looking.

If the leatherette surfaces are really dirty, I might give it a quick clean w/ Meg's interior QD or something like that first.

MB-Tex is plastic; I don't think I'd use a leather product. It's going to end up all over your clothes.

I agree with Woolite or your basic APC strategy. The meterial is highly forgiving.

Conditioning? Dunno. I might prefer to leave it clean and dry.

Yep, as vinyl interior materials go MB-Tex is great stuff. And yeah, IME it wears like iron even if you don't treat it (but treating with rubber/vinyl stuff works fine too), just do your best to keep it clean because dirt = abrasion = damage.

I never found MB-Tex to soak up dressings the way some such materials do...dunno if it was just the specific applications I was dealing with or whether it's generally characteristic of the suff :nixweiss

Heh heh, my mother's SL had a MB-T kinder seat in the back and my one German Shepherd spent a lot of time back there. When I say the stuff wears like iron without any dressings I'd say I gave it a pretty good test ;)
