Could someone link me to the 30` Hose for the Evolution, I believe its close to $100.
Has anyone beem successful making their own hose for it.
I own the revolution but never use it since I only have the shorter hose. So I may consider hanging it by my garage door and blowing cars off on the driveway.
Selling it is an option too if it sits unused any longer.

Hi Shawn,

I wall mounted my MB but the 10` hose is too short. As a result, it rarely gets used.

I REALLY want to buy the 30` hose but the cost is beyond ridiculous! I wish it was a little bit more reasonable especially when you consider the price delta between the MB revolution 10` to the MB revolution 30` is only $20.

I wish Autopia carried this so that the price could be more reasonable with the discounts and free shipping.

I have seen pics of someone using a pool hose. Here is a pic off the Adam`s forum.

Thanks for the info guys. I bought a 35` pool hose for $40 at Lowes. Both ends are the same so i had to remove one end. I tried putting the smaller attachment end (from the 10` provided hose, it screwed on CCW but it wasn`t a tight fit, so returned it.

Tomorrow I`ll try to locate one at a home depot and see if that differs.

Before I bought my 30` hose I looked into cheaper alternatives because $80 for a hose is ludicrous. Most of the reviews on pool hoses I saw said they leaked, cracked, or blew out. As crazy as it was, I decided $80 was worth my time not to mess around with it. As a plus, metro is a great company to deal with and their customer service has been top notch anytime I`ve dealt with them.

I have the 30 foot hose and it makes using the unit so much easier. When I only had the 8 foot hose it was a pain to use now it is quick and easy.

Do you guys find it a PIA to be that much further away from the Metro`s on/off switch? The one nice thing about using an ext cord and moving the whole unit around with me is how easy it is to toggle both motors on/off. TIA.

If the wheels swiveled, it would maneuver much easier if you are pulling it around in the garage.

A pain....not in the least. My hose and unit hang next the the garage door. It`s out of sight from the street and will not roll down the sloped driveway.

Thanks for the input everyone!!!
Well after checking depot and unsure whether their pool hose would work, and then returning it if not, I went directly to Metrovac and ordered it.
I`ll probably have it quickly since their right in NJ where I live.

Well thanks for everyone`s input.
I checked Home Depot and looked at their pool hose. Didn`t really feel up to testing another one.
So I went with the 30` hose from Metrovac. $8o or so.
Made in the USA and local to NJ where I live.
Can`t wait to finally use the Evolution on a regular basis.
