Master Blaster bracket for hanging

Has anyone wall mounted their master blaster and not used the official bracket from Metro? If so, how did you do it.

(Oh boy, I sure was going to get clever with the title and played it safe).

In for thoughts and suggestions.

I wish mine had come with the bracket originally. Maybe it should be added in standard

Al,
I have the MetroVac metal hangers for both the long Metrovac and the Master Blaster for almost 10 years, and they have worked just fine..

They are nothing more than good steel, bent at an angle to hold the front or rear wheel axles of each machine..

I just measured my brackets with an old micrometer and they both are coming in at 4/64`s thick = 1/16th"

If you have access to something that can bend steel and cut the flat side and drill the holes, it will work just fine..

If I could make one, I would make it wide enough to mount to both studs in the wall which as you know, are normally 16" apart on-center..

What I did with my 2 brackets (which have 3 holes drilled in them), is mount the center hole into a wall stud so for sure, the center is not going to move, and put some good drywall screws with inserts into the 2 side holes for support and to keep it level if it ever wants to move, if it comes loose...

The Metrovac bracket is 3-3/4" wide, 3" tall and then it gently bends to 90 degrees 1-3/4" long, and then bends up 1-3/16`s high..

Or, mount a piece of wood across the studs, and screw in the bracket to that piece of wood..

Thanks for comments.

I have seen pics of the bracket and it is quite simple. It would be easy with the tools to bend a piece of sheet metal. It looks like they provide a rod to use as the axle to hang on.

I would plan the idea of the wood strip that spans the studs then mount in the wood strip. I will have to study it move. I was in a cheap mood. I may look at some brackets/hooks at Lowes/HD that can be used.

@Bunky
Do you planning on keeping it on the wall with a 30` hose or just hanging it for storage?
@Driver
Do you have the 30` hose and keep it wall mounted when in use?
I suppose the wheels stay usable when the spacer is installed?

Well, reason I ask is because mine isn`t hanging on my wall. I`m not a guy to hang things on walls but did consider it.
I found the bracket with instructions but can`t for the life of me find the 2 bolts with the spacer for the wheel part of it. I may have tossed it due to my OCD. I may have had the spacer out with intent to put it on my MB but when cleaning was clueless at the time what it was and tossed it (but still looking)
The spacer is an easy install you can get parts anywhere. It`s explained well in the directions.

So if you want a bracket PM me where its going.
