What are some good marketing idea's for getting your name out?
i am going to start calling people in the newspaper who have cars for sale, i tried the flyer thing( waste of time and money). what are some good tips and ideas for a person starting a new buisness?

try leaving your card or a flyer at professional office buildings ..ie doctors , lawyers, people with little interest and time to care for their own cars..also most people neglect body shops...but you better be real good if you want their business

I just got a mortage office, at least 6 cars i do once a week ( same day every week)@100 permonth plus whoever else wants their car done, plenty of business if you do regular washes, and two of them already want a full detail in the coming weeks, these people have nice cars and lots of money to spend on them to keep them clean, youll be amazed how fast you can wash a car once you start washing it every week, sometimes i wonder why they pay me .
