marine chemicals

Hello all

new to the forum, lots of good info thanks.

Seeing as how marine chemicals and cleaners are so over priced just wonder what you use that might have a common base chemical, that you use instead of the name brand marine cleaners that can be quite expensive.

In particular I was wondering how / where / mix ratios you would use oxcilic acid and tsp.

I am looking for a strong deoxizidzer for faded gel coat, then of course following with machine buffing and wax/sealer.

Any other tips are also welcome

thanks mark PS. don't let the use name fool you I'm not some cheap yacht owner looking to save a buck, just a small biz owner trying to make a profit
