Stainless Steel Charcoal Grill

This bad boy has a very nice feature that allows you to crank the pan that hold the coals closer or furthure(sp?) away from the food as you need. It also has a very solid cast iron door that allows you acess to the coal so you can move them around if need be. I'm putting it togther right now and man this grill is SOLID, it's going to last a long time. I also picked up a cover and some food utincels to grill tommorow and I can't wait. I'll get good pictures so you can see the inside and all. Man must go to play with fire

Lowes has 2 of them there basic model which is all black and uses a thinner door for acess to the charcoal ($199). I chose the deluxe model for the stainless steel and thick cast iron door for $249+tax. They both have the Adjustable charcoal pan to move food from warm to hot cooking zones.

That's a real nice grill - I wish I had bought one of those. I bought one of the cheapie charcoal grills ($129) and after one grilling season it's pretty shot up.

Exactly why I spent the extra so I don't have to buy another one anytime soon (I hope/better not)

I must get that grill....no matter what the wife says

Just tell the wife you'll be cooking more and that should even things out (no pots and pans to clean) and hello from Charleston AFB

That looks like a really nice charcoal grill for the price. Having an adjustable charcoal pan is a real plus. Hope you got more food to grill to go with all those wine!!! Have a great BBQ!

BTW, your avatar always gives me the creeps.:soscared:

I'm just too impatient for charcoal. Propane for me.

You’re missing the relaxation and enjoying the time when you speed things up. I rather enjoy my free time by sitting talking bsing with a mixed drink or wine on the back porch. M-F the clock has me by the testies so on the weekends I glance at it to see what time Horse Power TV and all the other car geared shows are on either then that I don't care.

I get that a lot ;)

I know, but I gain the ability to be spontaneous and decide at the last second to toss something on the grille. There's times where I'm out at the grille most nights of the week.

My current grille is just a "get me by" thing for now, an old Coleman that used to belong to my in-laws from when they were moving and my old one was about used up. I'm looking forward to getting a nicer one with basic stuff like a cast iron grill, hopefuly this summer. One thing I don't care for with gas grilles, especially the newer ones, is the indirect heating because of the shields over the flame, sometimes more than one shield. I removed one of the shields on our current grille and it does much better but I can't figure out how to get the other one out. I'd like to find a grille with cast iron burners as well instead of the cheapo pipes with hole punched in 'em. Also enough burners to spread the heat around without leaning on the despised shields. I've seen one at Lowes that looks good, I think its from the same company that makes the one you posted. Yes, the shield helps avoid a few grease fires, but flame broiling is half the fun.

I took a look at these @ Lowe's yesterday - very nice. I liked that it had enamel coated iron grates vs. the normal wire you find on most charcoal.

I have the Goerge Foreman grill for spontaneous moments lol which does a really good job cooking fast and even. My dad has a gas grill with sheilds covering the flames it did a decent job but as soon as it was dead back to charcoal for him. I love the section enamel coated iron grates it has as well. This grill for what it comes with is just a great buy all around.

Nice looking grill! Nothing like charcoal and beer.

I was thinking more the lines of vodka, nothing like Belvedere vodka and Florida O.J to get things going lol.

I will always say that charcoal tastes better, but when you are in a hurry you can't beat the easiness of gas.

That grill is the ish man!
