is there anything different about the 9227c and the 9227cb? I use a 9227c and absolutely love the machine, I find it hard to use anything else. You are right about the precise speed control.

BTW why does the article say that you use the 9227 to apply waxes????

I am wondering why Makita is taking credit for it applying the expensive wax which we all know is applied by bare hands. I think Makita is going too far with the ad and taking away true credit from you.

I just would hate to see it make you look bad to professionals, when they know you hand apply your expensive waxes.



We all know a quality machine like Makita is an important part of a precise detail, but it's the master behind it is what really counts! Again congrats on the ad!

agreed, just like the 9227CX3, etc.. not to mention they have a different power source over there in the UK...

I have the makita there.... But I still prefere the dewalt over it any day of the week. for me the makita just isn't precise enough for my 1st choice. Although I would rather have that than most of the other machines on the market right now.
