The 10000 RPM no load speed will be too high. Check if there is a thumb wheel to adjust the speed down like on a 9227C. You would want to run it at 1000-1500 RPM.

Pretty sure this is the wrong tool for detailing if that's what you intend to use it for.

Yeah I figured out pretty quickly that its a grinder that is set at 10,000 RPM lol.. No worries, bought a Makita 9227 today!
