Making an article..

I've been interested in creating an article on detailing for a local magazine thats starting up and just wanted to see what some points you guys think I should touch on are. I'm going to talk about how a clean well cared for car reflects on your personality and how people judge you but I need some other ideas as well. Thanks :)
 
I'd focus more on proper technique and processes and using quality detailing materials, instead of pumping any particular products. Such as, starting with proper wash technique and method (since the majority of people need to start there). Maybe focus on what products are needed for a particular purpose, i.e. when to use clay, paint cleaners, SSRs, LSPs, etc...
 
Well cared for car keeps it's value.

Higher resale price.

Increases life of the vehicle.
