I had a rust spot on my wheel well in my car and since I don't have any money to get it professionally done, I went about it myself. This time I was able to get the paint to match somehow, except its not really the same level and I might have some overspray that's like 1mm thick.
As you can see, the paint isn't completely level. It is more level in the pic beucase I put about 3 more coats of paint on and I'll probably put another 3 or 4 on tomorrow. My question is, can I use like 1000 or 1200 (also heard like 2000) to smooth it out without damaging the clear coat?
