You've seen my Boxster, S4 and Carrera. What about my maroon Twin Turbo and my red Carrera Cabriolet? Or my A4 and my pickup truck? And what do you think about my new garage expansion and lifts?
Ok, ok, so maybe it's not "all" my stuff or my place. Actually, it's the local Porsche dealer in St. Louis who sponsored my Detailing Event last weekend. They served us snacks and lunch and gave us all kinds of giveaways and prizes including cool Porsche posters. All attendees received free samples of products and everybody got an attendance gift.
We detailed a black Carrera all day starting from washing to claying to buffing to waxing, etc. We discussed as many aspects of detailing as we could and allowed everybody hands on opportunity to get involved.
There were displays of scores of detailing products that we, at Autopia, are all familiar with but cannot find at local stores.
We had the 3M rep there for expert advice and buffing skills. And the Dent Wizard pro offered his skills and services. I even had a ding removed from the Carrera for free!
It was a great turnout, with a lot of good interaction. It will likely become an annual event.
