I washed the car at least 4x a week to simulate rainfall. I didn't touch up the sealant or clayed, nor did anything beyond washing (no QD as well since QD tends to smear on Fusso). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Bottom line: The sealant lasted a good 2.5 months or so in Manila weather.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Can't wait to see how long Zaino and S100 will last.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> <DIV>The following shot was taken a week and a half ago, 2 nights before I stripped the old sealant. There are a lot of swirls, but just to show that polishing is the key to clean reflections, the sealant left here is very, very minimal since my car hardly beads or sheets when I wash at this point of time, but the reflection is still clear.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>

Clayed the whole car (well, except the bumpers), then decided NOT to use a cleaner to cut down the swirls and instead, chose to just cover up (fill) the swirls with Polyglaze Glide on Glaze.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2 coats of GOG + 2 coats of Fusso... here are the results. Pardon the dust on the car, I just parked.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>

</DIV> <DIV align=center>Hood Reflection of Office Building And Citiland</DIV> <DIV align=center> <HR> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The whole process (soak, wash, clay, 2x glaze, 2x sealant) took less than 3 hours to do, including the dry time of the 2 layers of glaze and 1 coat of sealant. The 2nd coat of sealant was applied 12hrs after. BTW, tires, wheel wells are already treated while the sealant is drying, the interior has been cleaned as well during the waiting time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just to show that with regular maintenance, a full paint detail can be done at a much faster pace than neglecting a car and having to go through the machine route again, which will surely take more than 5+ hours to do completely.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All cars swirls up over time, especially for a daily driver, the key is to minimize the swirling and tackle them before they become difficult to remove.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Speaking of swirling, my duster (Soft99) does produce micro marring on the paint when used, this is because I ran out of the silicon spray that needs to be sprayed onto the duster once a month or so. I'm basically using a dry duster (bad idea). The marring is very light, so it's only affecting my glaze/sealant layer, which can be easily rejuvenated.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Don't get me wrong, my car is far from perfect, but I'm pretty happy with how it looks for a factory 9 year old paint. <HR> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV></FONT></TD></TR></TABLE></TD></TR></TABLE>
