Maine get-together (56K semi-unfriendly)

Finally got a digicam today (and a 9227C :)), so I figured I'd post some pics of the work that me and JJ did today.

He worked on his wife's 95 Sentra, and I worked on the beater of the century, a 96 Subaru Legacy owned by a family member (name withheld to protect the guilt party).

The last two just give you an idea of how powerful and effective a rotary can be (one pass with PowerGloss and orange pad at 1300)

Sorry, no finished pics yet, but I'll have them up when I'm done with the car (its a father's day detail present, so I'm in no hurry)

Hey, unless you had the front end changed, that is not a '95, it has to be a '98 or '99. From a former B14 owner('96 200SX SE-R). Nice job though.

Tim,

You better try to remove those little white spaks off quickly as possible. I know with PG(i exped) it biatch to remove after its hardend. Did you have problem removin' those splatter/white spaks on the roof rack?

hehe, i see some buffer holograms! well i think thats what they are...maybe its just the angle. But ditto, remove that splatter ASAP.

Heh, yep I let them sit for a little too long. I ended up just washing the car, but the rubber trim I got it on was another matter. I tried APC, MCME, NXT soap, with minimal results. Finally, I used GR-40 on it. Wow, that stuff is money, it burned right through the Powergloss residue in one pass with a MF. I'd highly reccomend it to anyone for trim work, it is really "tv infomercial" good. Of all the products I've used recently, its the one that most exceeded my expectations. It came as an afterthought in my trim dye kit, so far I've used the dye on 2 cars and the GR-40 on at least 15.
