Used my new 7424 on my '04 Dodge this morning, and loved using the Klasse twins on it. Getting ready to put on the s100 next, but got to thinking about some questions.

I have chrome clad wheels on my HEMI, and they look great after a wash and dry. Should I throw AIO, SG, or S100 on them to keep them protected and shiny? I've got a LOT of chrome all over this truck, and wanted to know the best way to protect it and bring out all its brilliance.

I guess my next question is about the exterior windows. Should I use any of these three on the glass, or just be happy with window cleaner?

And, on that matter, I also have some custom 7-year vinyl graphics applied to the rear slider window. They are "chrome" appearance, would any of these chemicals be safe on it?

For those of you contemplating getting a PC 7424, DO IT! I love using it, and no bad experiences at all. I did the AIO with it, but did the SG by hand.

Tomorrow's project: window tinting!

Many sealants say they will work on any non-porous surface (WG, EX-P, and AIO come to mind) so sealing your chrome wheels would be a good idea as the brake dust will have a harder time adhering to your wheels.

I suppose you could put wax the wheels too (since you say you have s100) but they probably won't last as long as a sealant.

Sealants also work well on glass. I would polish your windows first though to make the surface as smooth and clean as possible before sealing.

I wouldn't wax the wheels. The heat produced at the wheels would melt the wax very quickly. Then the brake dust sticks worse than if you didn't wax at all. Use the sealant on the wheels.

So the SG won't hurt the luster on the chrome wheels then?

It shouldn't. Sealants are a lot clearer than waxes in general and SG is pretty clear for a sealant.
