Hey Guys!



If anyone wants to know what advertising works...direct mail! I put out a mailing of only 200 advertisements and received enough business to last me all week! I'm putting out more tomorrow.



Just thought I would put this out there for any detail business owner looking to get more customers!:xyxthumbs

How did you make up your database? Did you buy it or from a broker?



Are you targeting any particular profession ?



What are you sending them?

To anwser your question Mizzuri:



1. I used the software from InfoUSA, which you can buy from your local office store or online. They have a massive database covering different types of businesses, residential, etc.



2. I targeted people in specific neighborhoods that I know are receptive to having services done for them, and I know this from when I worked for a pest control firm.



3. I sent them a "coupon flyer" which was colorful, short, showed the benefits of my service, and the features of my service. Of course contact info, etc.



I hope this helps if you are interested in doing a mail out!



I'm going to look into getting a bulk mailing permit so I can save some money and do a much more larger mailout.:xyxthumbs
