mach 1 hood

Hi guys got a question on a Mach 1 hood . It has a flat paint in the middle would you treat it like all the other paint and just polish or you have another way to do this. i seen swirls on that part and wasn't sure on how to go about this.

what year? on the new ones 03-04 you can use wax on it but don't use anything abrasive as it's just a decal. The older machs have a single stage flat paint that can be treated like any other single stage paint...

On the newer ones I'd use a vinyl cleaner and seal with a non abrasive sealant such as Z2pro, CS or OS.

Thanks it's a new one 03 or 04 model . guess the swrils are in to stay on that.
