M205 on 2009 Nissan

My wife got a new car in October. It has a few swirls nothing major. Would it be ok to go over it with M205 and a LC white pad and then wax it up or would it be better since the paint isn't very bad at all to wait on the polish and just wash and add 2 layers of Z2?



I know I only have so much clear coat so should I try not to polish it unless it gets heavily swirled?

The M205 with a white pad won't take off that much clear coat at all. I think it would be best to remove whatever imperfections you have in the paint first before you seal it up with the Z2. Then you will have a clean slate to work with and you can concentrate on keeping the car clean and swirl free.
