m105/m205, 85rd.

would it be better with m105/m205 then 85rd or would 2 step m105/m205 do same thing?

Depends on the paint. On harder paints (Benz ceramiclear, C5/C6 Vettes), finishing with 205 on a finishing pad may leave a perfect finish. On softer paints (like my S2000), M205 leaves a haze and I have to follow with PO85RD or 3M Ultrafina.

I was pondering the OP's question myself-so when you say "follow with" does that mean after 105 or after 205?

you will ALWAYS obtain a wetter, deeper finish with 85rd. Will it always be noticeable, no. But I will be happier knowing I gave my clients all I had to offer!

On the hardest paint I've corrected since forever (that Byzanz Metallic M3 I used to have), Menzerna dramatically improved the finish left by M205. And the Menzerna in question wasn't even PO85RD.
