M101 "Blobs"

I'm working on a 95 MB S320, Midnight Blue.

First time using M101 on a 3401/Lake Country Flat Yellow Cutting Pad.Loving the way it finished down.

Problem is, it's leaving these tiny blobs or clumps of product almost immediately after I start buffing :( It's not dust. (Feedback?)

Is it possible that there were small "pores" in the paint that the compound found its way down into? That looks like it could either be pitting or solvent pop areas, though it could be something else as well. Does IPA clear them up?

Maybe user error as well?

It has been repainted. Maybe I'm over-priming the pad? You know how if you roll hobby clay in your palm to make a long string and small bits and pieces can break off? It's like that.

Going to get back to it shortly. The other thing I experienced was, say I was 'rolling' the buffer over the curve of the fender, it would leave a small streak/patch of product.
