The owner of this vehicle was interested in having the exterior of the vehicle cleaned to the fullest extent. This rare, beautiful sports sedan underwent several days of careful cleaning, paint correction, and finally ceramic coating application for incredibly gloss and shine that will surely make this car stand out even more on the street. The exterior was thoroughly washed and decontaminated to prep the vehicle for polishing.

The vehicle was then thoroughly compounded to remove the majority of defects from the paint. Here are several before/after shots taken during the cutting process.

Beginning the final polishing step. You can see where the hood looks hazy from compounding vs where it looks darker after final polishing.

This car was a joy to work on... a real inspiration for what I can only hope I may be fortunate enough to enjoy in my own garage one day.

Oh YEAH !!!!!! Nice job !!!!

Why the switch in coatings?

Thanks! Switch in coatings? Not sure what you mean exactly... we've always used a variety of coatings, typically sourced from CarPro or 22ple, and the occasional Gloss Coat. I prefer the 22ple coatings & CarPro coatings most of all after personal long-term testing on my own vehicles.

Awesome work, nothing looks as good as a clean black car!

Can't argue with you there... every time I finish a job like this I have to convince myself that I really don't want a black vehicle despite how good they look.

Very nice Zach! How do you like the new Griot's polishes? Would you buy more? or go back to another brand after finishing these off?

Well, they clearly work well as indicated in the past couple jobs I have used them on. I really like the fast correcting creme. The perfecting creme is nice, but my only complaint is that it takes a bit of work to wipe off. It just seems oily (similar to trying to wipe away SF4500). I'm just used to how easily M205 wipes away I guess.

Not sure I would pick up any more perfecting creme, but the fast correcting creme is a keeper for me.

Excellent work Zach! I am with you on the CF roof, it looks awesome.

Which version of 22ple is it?

Thanks!

This is a new, not yet released, product called 22ple ZX3 Pro. It may be sold through retail channels in the nearish future... not sure what direction they are going to go with it yet (pro or consumer).

Note: The coating used on this vehicle was a pre-production product. It will be released as "22ple HPC" in the very near future.
