Hey guys, been lurking for a long time. I signed up a while back but have never posted.

I am an active member on ls1tech.com and post ls1.com.. Along with a few local fbody clubs in TN.

Present cars....

2000 Pewter Trans Am... H/C stalled full suspension etc etc etc.

GF- 97 Hardtop 3.8 black... She bought this to replace her old black 00 TA that was totaled. The TA had full bolt ons cam and converter.. She will be getting another ls1 soon enough.

Past rides... 1998 TA A4 white (more drag oriented).. 1998 M6 Z28 black DD.. 99 3.8 firebird.. 95 hardtop red 3.4 camaro.. F4i and a 954RR.. Few others mixed in there.

Have been wanting to get into detailing in the past year. I am still a MAJOR noob with it but willing to learn/read to get me decent at it. Can't wait to actually start.

I really don't have any equipment/supplies. I have been waxing by hand, have not been doing things correctly though.. No clay/cleaner/sealer/etc..

Any links to buy products would be GREATLY appreciated.. Scratch removers/waxes/clay bars/machines/etc.

Thanks guys!

Thanks guys! I know all about the sickness with cars! LOL Been in the performance side, time to tackle and learn a thing or two about keeping the outside pristine.

So much info floating around it is over whelming, I don't even know where to start. Reminds me of years ago reading ls1tech.com. HAHA Sad part is I feel even more lost here.

Here's where I got started. It gives the basics and you can build from there. You're just gonna have to pick a brand used by someone that looks like they know what they are talking about if you want a suggestion. It seems there are so many different brands of this and that that no two posters in a thread will use the same product. You can have 10 posters or read 10 before and afters and never see the same stuff mentioned twice.

It's insane.

Been looking through some of the articles and what not, TONS of info!

I have noticed about the vast variety of products used while being liked and disliked.
