Hello All,

Im fairly new here, I just recently bought a 2000 civic si about a week or so ago.

The front has tons of small rock chips because its lowered about 1'' on Eibach springs, also there swirl marks in the paint (After I clayed it and put some Scratch X on + NXT wax).

Here are the pics:

Front End:

Small Scratch on hood:

Rear Bumper Scratch:

Ok so I dont have a polisher of any type, I detailed for about a year at a local honda dealership. I have $180ish to spend on a polisher + waxes etc...

Im thinking about buying the following:

Porter Cable 7424

Natty's Paste Wax ( BLUE)

EX-P

SSR2.5

SSR1

How does this sound to start with? Also I hear people using AIO, should I buy some of that? Optimum compoud? Any advice/tips would be great!

That list you have sounds like a good start. Might also want to get some 3000 grit wetordry paper and a bottle of touchup paint.

BTW, the rock chips probably aren't caused by the car being lowered. Pretty sure they are caused by rocks. :D Ask my huge Dodge Ram about rock chips on the hood.... oh... maybe they were caused by Civics. :D Sorry, couldn't resist!

Ummm for the car in the picture, I' d consider using a Klasse line up. It will restore the fenders and the passenger door. For the hood, a Mother's carnauba and P21S for the bumpers... You'll get a brand new (that's an Integra right ?) car...

:D

would be good for starters?

Sounds good, 180 will be alittle short though. You will be around 180 with just the polisher and pads.

Rock chips are caused primarily by following too close. Leave more room and you'll be fine.

Those products would be a good starter kit. MMMM Blue Nattys...

After you get all that fixed and looking decent, i would invest in a clear bra kit form 3m. I know a great website that sells them cheap.
