Looking for Thickness Gauge to Borrow in Chicago Area

Looking to either rent/borrow one for a day or so, or to have someone come take some readings on my car. I want to do OC, but before I polish would like to be safe.

Naw, ETG gauges ain't cheap, and the ETGII sold for close to a grand.(I didn't pay for them, did development work for them a number of years ago, part of my consulting fee)

Not that I don't trust you, but I don't let my diagnoistic tools get further than the drive way, unless they are in my hands.
