Right now I'm using a cheapo wheel cleaner purchased at AutoZone months ago but it says "Safe for all wheels",but now I bought a new car with aluminum wheels coated/painted and I was looking for a nicest tire/wheel combo just to be on the safer side.

I don't have the money for 2 different cleaners wheel/tires I would need a combo cleaner.Any suggestion is welcome.

PS: Can't do Wolfgang either too expensive...BTW why are they so expensive ?

This is the wheel.

I love using Optimum Power Clean on wheels. Great cleaner

for what you're after and its a much safer option than a lot

of other cleaners out there. One gallon should make at least

5 gallons of ready to use cleaner for you, depending on how

you dilute it.

Sonax FE works great. Flash Brown Royal is awesome, 1 gallon turns into 4 and at $16.99 a gallon thats not bad. Also you can use it on the motor and its clear coat safe.

:bigups Seal them and all you will need is soap and water for clean wheels.

Since they are new, and very nice, clean them really well and wax/seal them to make washing them in the future easier.

That is what I would do for those wheels, too. As OPC is extremely versatile - for the price you cannot beat it.

webb- I'd OptiCoat them. I was pleasantly surprised by the OptiCoat, worked out much better on wheels than I ever expected it to. You can clean OptiCoated surfaces with most anything as you're just cleaning the coating (which is tough stuff and not much sticks to it).

I treat my wheels just like my paint and generally never have to use a dedicated wheel cleaner. When I do, I use Griots.
