looking for a good QD

I was wandering what QD you guys are using?

I have never used one and am thinking about trying one out perferbly with carnuba.
 
I currently use 3M Gloss Enhancer on PUPP. GE has trace amounts of two types of alcohol and carnauba wax. I see absolutely degredation of the shine due to the alcohols. The product is truly a GLOSS ENHANCER.
 
I like Quik Shine myself. It works well on all finishes. If you want one with carnuaba in it, I'd go with Poorboy's QD+.
 
Do a search as their is a lot of good choices. I like Clearkote Quikshine, Pinnacle Crystal Mist, and Poorboy's Spray and Wipe as well as Platinum's on my Platinum'ed car.
 
I too am, uhm, taking a shine to Quik Shine :o . It really does seem to work well on everything. I also use BF's QD (on synthetics), and Griot's and Pinnacle's on carnaubas (they both contain a little wax). I'm gradually using up my EF Clear Pearl, which works OK on waxes, but I think there are now better products available.
 
Eagle One WET Wipe N Shine or Meguiars Quick Detailer. Both are economical and easy to find. Should be able to find them at Walmart or Autozone for about $4.
 
I like the Megiuars and Zaino QD myself. . .but they are the only 2 I have tried
 
I'm new here, but I've been using Meguiars QD and Quick Wax and I've been very happy with it. However, I just ordered Meguiars Final Inspection to use in between coats of Klasse twins and some Final Detail because I've heard that FD is the best quick detailer bar none. Now I'm going to find out!

Mixture of Poorboy's Spray and Wipe and Mother's Showtime. Have, but not used Poorboy's QD+. Have used Mequiar's Quik Detailer (burgandy bottle) with good results. Based on many recommendations here, I purchased EO Wet Wipe & Shine. Looking forward to good results from that.



I can't recall reading any negative comments regarding any QD product. Buy several and enjoy.
 
I have tried a lot of QD's over my 3x Platinum UPP (Showtime, Platinum, QS, EO and 3M GE.)



The one that I use the most often is the 3M. For me at least, it is a true "gloss enhancer." I use Poorboy's S&W to get the rain crud off the car. Then the 3M.



It probably is my imagination, but the 3M seems to minimize minor defects on the finish. It's not a true glase, but its ingredients (trace amounts of two types of alconol and carnoube wax) does the job for me.



Plus, it's only $25.88 per gallon DELIVERED!
 
I'm new to the QDing process and would like to give it a try in hopes of saving some time and money by washing every fricken day or two. I've heard good things about the Meguire products and would like to know whats the difference between the Final

"Inspection" and the " Detail ". I'm sure that I've read people talk about two different QD's from Meguires. Can anyone clear this up? Thanks.
