I have a white camaro and I just ordered all of this:

SSR 2.5
SSR 1
Clearkote VM
Clearkote CMW
Natty's
PC 7424

I was wondering if I could wax my plastic fenders and bumpers and get the same results w/o using the Clearkote RMG.

Also I was wondering if I need a sealant or the products I have are fine?

Re: what I just ordered.

Hi Artic, Welcome

I have not used RMG, so I couldn't tell you if the results would be different or not, bot you should be able to get a very nice finish with what you have purchased.
If you want a sealant, that is up to you.

I hope that you also purchased pads to go with the new PC.

Good luck

Mach welcome,
Glad to see that you didn't get carried away...LOL

Do you have a PC to go with all those goodies?

Thanks for the welcome. I've lurked around for a while and felt I needed a good thread to jump in off of. :)
I always get carried away...especially when I've been dying to get "real" products for like 10 years since I began detailing for friends and family. I always used OTC products, always got good comments about my car's finish, so I am really excited to see what a nice product and all of the helpful advice I've read on here can do. Thanks to all the informational posts and good conversation everyone...looking forward to join in now.
BTW--The nice thing about the Wolfgang swirl kit was that it included a PC, 3 pads, all the Wofgang prods necessary for like 229. That was initially all I wanted to get...then I just figured to He!! with it

not mine....i mean about being pretty clean. just had a bunch of service done at the mechanix and they left it a whole mess of fingerprints, grease and whatnot. I tell them not to clean it at Cloister (partially b/c it's lowered but mostly b/c I'm a detail OC) and I think they think that gives them a license to get stupid with it. But I will get befores and afters as well. Just got one box today! The other half comes Friday....can't wait til Saturday morning :boxing: -- Good bye gunk!

i'd still use RMG.
with CMW, and then Natty's i don't think you need a sealant.

ok no pictures yet .. got dark too soon... but i still see some surface scratches.. did i not press down hard enough... didnt do it long enough?
i used the orange cutting pad.

A lot of variables involved arctic .
1. Paint hardness
2. Surface Cleanliness ( claying 1st )
3. Machine speed
4. Pad movement speed ( work time )
5. Pad pressure
6. Knowledge

Also the fact that even if you had all of those downpacked , you still might have introduced some swirls or micro marring with the orange pad . Though not likely with a PC .
Just try and practice amount of product youre using , get a feel for how long it works and use speed 5-6 to remove swirls . Go up to the blue pad after the orange ( without doing the whole car ) and use the 2.5 also , then clean it and next day try ssr1 + blue pad . Work about 1" per second
